The one i am looking at is LHD, 1994, blue, 90k, new gearbox, and clutch, full history. Does anyone have a clue how much?

Hi Ben,
is that the one at MCP? I spent a long time looking for an RS2 (8 months or so) and accumulated a reasonable collection of buyer's guides and things to look for, mostly by talking to people on here and
www.s2forum.com (thanks guys

). I have temporarily abandoned my search, but if you pm me your email address i'll send through some of the stuff I got together. unfortunately i don't have the stuff with me in work, but if you can wait until tomorrow i should be able to get it to you then.
if it is the one at MCP it is probably worth looking at as it should be a very good example of what a clean one looks like. Martin Pearse has an excellent reputation. However, he will probably give you a HARD sell to buy the car..... i have dealt with him in the past. I would strongly recommend that you see several (including some of people on this website or s2forum that you AREN'T looking to buy) before seriously looking at buying one. It is very tempting to buy the first one you see. They are stunning cars and the boost is just incredible - there is nothing else in the world like it! you will fall in love instantly. However, they are a potential minefield if you get a wrong 'un, so it is vital that you go in with eyes wide open. If you've seen a few first then the Wow!!!! factor is slightly reduced and you can be a bit more objective.
there are several owners on here and S2forum in the essex or south east london area who i'm sure would be happy to show you their cars!
hope this helps,
Tim

Thanks flossy,
It is the one at MCP, does anyone else have any info on the car? Alternatively to stop me making a mistake can I look at the Essex boys cars so I know what to look for. Would appreciate it!
Thanks
Ben

Hi there
I'm in East London (Stratford) so if you want to have a look at mine either PM me or reply to the post. Around most weekends, not that far from the A12. Showed Shrish (S2forum) mine and he went and bought the first one he looked at! I looked at 7 before I bought mine...but it was worth waiting for!
Cheers

Ben
This looks interesting:

Are you specifically looking for a LHD? Or could you be swayed?

Have attached some Audi links, gathered in my 30 mins of research!
Hope its helpful

Hi Robo
You're just up the road from me......there's talk of some Rs2's meeting up in April .....myself, Shrish and Jubjub (S2forum), if you or anyone else fancies meeting up so much the better!!!
There's a few Rs4ers who are up for it as well....so all we need now is a definite date and venue. Any ideas or suggestions welcome, redrocket suggested a SantaPod meet?

Hi Angus
I don't want to hijack Ben's post but the more the merrier on a meet! Hey at this rate we may have 5 Rs2's and some Rs4's.....the only point of contention is Where? and When?
Was suggesting 9th April but that seems to be SantaPod RWYB weekend...and as for a meeting place, I originally thought of somewhere like Eltham Palace in SE London which was local to myself, Shrish and Jubjub but if we're going for somewhere equidistant then let's have some suggestions! Pub? Somewhere like (but not) the Ace Cafe?
