I'm hoping to upgrade to a set of 6 pots, anyone know the offset
of a standard 304mm disc?

Here is a link to a thread on the S2forum which has an attachemnt of a list of porsche/audi rs2 interchangable brake parts. On it, it says that the standard 304mm offset is 45mm:

What discs and calipers are you thinking of using? I assume that you will have to have custom carriers made up.
With all my calipers needing replacemnt due to corrosion problems, I thought about going with GT3 6-pot or with 996 monoblocs, but ended up opting for the big red/993tt option as they are tried and tested, bolt on and an original RS2 option. Also I don't really track the car and 6-pots would probably be a bit over the top for my needs. Just ordered it all, having put it off for the past 9 months. Having said that I would have liked to use monoblocs to avoid future corrosion problems. I'll just have to look after them.

Angus,
Yes I'm looking at the "6 pot" route, Gt 2 or 3 (are they the same?)
I've got someone looking into it for me at the moment, so just waiting for a price. Who did you approach ? If it turns out too expensive, I'll go the big red route too. I'm just trying to build in a little "future proof-ness" if you know what I mean. Plus, I'm also wanting to switch to 18" wheels, and I don't want the standard brakes leaving it looking like a Saxo with 18's on it!
How much are you paying for your big reds, are you sourcing them from VAG parts?
