Hi guys,

bit of a strange problem....

Been trying to get insurance quotes for Audi RS2s and have discovered that the database of car stats used by (all???) insurance companies only have the production years down as 1994-1994. :scratch: No mention of 1995. Let alone the cars registered as late as 1996.

Since several of you have got '95 cars I was wondering how you got round this problem, or does it just de-materialise when the insurance company sees several hundred pounds being wafted under their noses for your premium? I only ask 'cos i'm a bit nervous about buying a '95 car to discover that i can't even insure it to drive it home....

Not a problem I have come across. If it fails to appear on a database ring them

I had no problems on a 96?

I've had no probs - been with Direct Line and Privilege on a 95 plate
