URGENT: Rear discs

Post by Cobstar » Tue Jun 21, 2005 6:56 am

Having trouble sourcing the cast discs in the UK. Car currently has "cross-drilled" discs but we have no part details.

Does anyone know where I can get part 951-352-041-91. Any help gratefully received as I want my car back!

928 M030 Rear Rotors, 299mmx24mm 951-352-041-91(porsche no) 8A0 615 601D(audi no) "Cross-drilled", bolt on to RS2

If u are really struggling to track these down I have a pair of used but still plenty of life solid rears after big red upgrade. Just PM me.

Thanks for all your help. I'm beginning to think that the big brake upgrade like you've done is going to be the best option LOL!

Those helpful people on the UK Porsche 968 forum have confirmed that the Porsche part no is the same as the 968 MO30 cross drilled rear discs. And given me the name of a good Porsche parts bod (thank you Fen!)

Mystery solved - the garage that replaced the discs previously had drilled them! Gone with standard size non-drilled Zimmerman discs - and braking is more than adequate LOL. New cables and shoes for the handbrake too - it's never worked so well!
