looking for a bit of help with an ongoing problem with my '95 RHD car.

Had starting stalling regularly and hunts when trying to idle.

Have swapped the idle control valve with my 20v UR but that makes no difference.

Have checked all of the pipes for leaks and checked that all connections are secure.

HELP..........!!

checked for air leaks. swapped the MAF with my UR quattro one (RS2 spec) and no change. New plugs fitted but no change. Interestingly the car idles absolutely fine with the MAF disconnected (but obviously will not drive under boost in this guise!). Any ideas?

Which dump valve did you use?
I replaced mine with a Forge 007. Others have used the S3 one or of course you can always stick with the OE RS2 one.

It was a piston type one and was leaking under a vacuun test. I replaced it with the S3 item which by all accounts is stronger than the OE RS2 one..?

Excellent choice. Standard diaphragm type are quicker reacting than piston but need to be considered service items.
