Hi all,

If i posted this in the wrong place, or am asking a taboo question, but i hope every newbie can be given a mistake...

Does anyone have any input on what they reckon this is worth?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 33553&rd=1

I had a quick look at the car yesterday, all looks pretty tidy outside, inside the leather is looking its age. Engine sounds good a little valve noide but nothing else, missing the big plastic cover for the right hand radiator.

It obviously has had an interesting past, it has full audi service(print out) till 61K, but after that i dont know much. It is due a service and as i understand it a cam belt change. Not sure in peoples experience how easy this will be to move on??

This is the first RS2 I have looked at and they are awesome! I wish my bro still had his evo6 for a little one on one. If people know of any others that are for sale that i can look at or have any advice it would be gratefully received
Thanks

Richard

I think this one has a cheqquered past - stolen, written off becasue of parts stolen etc. I thinkit was the one I sawat Knockhill, and later saw for sale in Edinburgh. It might have been for sale round Brum for a lot cheaper in it's past! Search on S2 forum - there has been numorous threads about it. Of course - I might have got this one mixed up so please check.

Please check it out properly. I think. If a car has been written off once it cannot be again.
Ie, if you crash it or get it stolen you will not get paid out by your insurance as the car has previously been "paid out" because it was beyond repair. If you know what I mean...........

I think you have to get the hpi marker removed but this isnt easy .....

I might be wrong.

looks nice though.

Thanks for the help all guys. Let it go in the end couldn't arrange an inspection before the end of the auction :( The rear brakes were making a noise which sounded like it could be expensive and i didn't want to take the gamble, potential bargain or potential nightmare.

I am however still looking so if anyone has an RS2 for sale prices around £13k let me know,m my 1.8 A4 just doesn't cut it any more.
