without even being a techie it sounds a nightmare.. probably the best advice is:

1/ sell LHD car
2/ buy RHD car

I allready have RHdrive RS2, but a Lhd has come up at a killer price. Maybe worth stripping it down and changing to track car.
I was hoping conversion would be new dashboard and moving steering column and pedals, swopping round hydraulic steering, reconnecting all piping, cabling. My worry is if I have to move things like fuse box and obviously aircon unit and ducts, also wipers, can they be swopped?

Beyond my knowledge. Try post on S2 forum. Plenty of knowledge.

Forgive me in advance for asking what may be a dumb question but...if you are planning to use as a track car, why the need to convert?

I agree if it is going to be a track car save the expense and invest it elsewhere :D
You soon get used to changing gear with your right hand, less than 30mins and you won't even notice.

My option would be strip down weight and use as LHD track car or if conversion possible, to get my friend to buy it. He is looking for RS2, but does not like LHD. I am itching a bit. I have allways wondered how RS2 will go stripped to bare bone?

Taking weight out always makes a big difference.
Certainly there is plenty you can take out of an RS2 - electric recarro seats are very heavy for example and there will be loads of sound insulation under the carpets etc
