Hi all,

Great site! I'm a motoring journalist and am planning a possible feature to include the RS2 - a column on what it was, why it's great, why people should want one and what they should pay.

The latter part is what I need your help on. 182 'official' RS2s (plus however many LHDers) means they don't come up for sale all that regularly. What's the going rate for a RHD, how much can be saved with LHD and how do you best go about getting one from Europe? Plus, is there anything else I should be aware of?

This fella (who is about a mile from where I live in Woking) had this on Auto Trader a couple of weeks ago for I think £17995

RHD all have a premium over LHD usually in the region of 4-5K.

As a ROUGH guide 18-20k <50k 15-17k < 85k 14-15k <100k >85k 11-14k >100k. RHD FSH not stolen/accident repaired

Best way to buy from europe is via MCP motorsport who specialises in LHD german exotica
