You need discs from 928GT or GTS with deeper disc hat. That should fit. Plus the caliper air removal valves need to face up, I think 911 calipers they face down. Can be switched.

I am looking at an RS2 that has had brake discs changed to cross-drilled items from a 944 Turbo which current owner says work well (it was a previous owner that changed them), roughly same size as std RS2 discs but drilled.

Are these similar to the 928GT ones mentioned above?

I hope not , I need 928gt to be 322mm, 944t and rs2 are 304mm.

so the 944 Turbo ones are a good enough replacement, same size but cross-drilled. Not as good as the larger discs obviously, but a little better than standard.

I'm not sure whether 928GT had 322mm brakes, the GTS I'm quite sure did have these -with the right offset for RS2

928 GT is 304mm 928 GTS 322mm but they dont do them cross-drilled.
Finaly i have finished the upgrade, feels GR8 , 993 turbo big reds with pads and 928 gts 322mm discs, not recomended to DIY due to no part numbers.
