David - the Porsche centre caps are back on again. I had just taken them off to touch up one that had got a bit scratched by someone try to to remove it - thieving little b*****d. Well spotted.
Yes they are VAG Parts aero wipers.

I know, I know - I'll get marked down in concours.
Anyway pics above are more or less in full OE spec (except the wipers - doh!)

Yeh I'll get marked down too - I've got the VAG aero wiper on the drivers side and a non standard multimedia/sat nav system and non standard tyres- 225/45 rather than the original 245/40 SP8000.

Well it is nice to be able to tell all these Polar Silver RS2s apart with a few subtle updating modifications.

David,
Thanks for the compliment.
It is certainly getting there, was in pretty good order when I got the car, but has had lots of TLC since.
My callipers are a little chipped in places so need a little careful touching in.
I just want to get the car in as new condition if possible. The RS2 is rare and a very special edition. If you have a good one it is certainly well worth looking after.
There are just a few signs that some are falling into the hands of those who couldn't care less about their cars and will just thrash & neglect them (not anyone on this forum I hasten to add). I find it very sad when you see one that has clearly had a hard life - like the current one on Ebay and the ones that come up stolen recovered. Hopefully they will be bought by someone who appreciates the car for what it is and be prepared to invest a bit to bring the car back to its best.
Long live the RS2
