there is snow here,this morning i started the car,front glass was iced,i removed the alarm panel and locked the car.came to my floor spend half an hour and decided to leave. when i went next to the car alarm keys dont unlock the car.... its 10:35 now and the car is working since 08:00 .i cant get in. i always use this alarm buttons to lock and un lock but they dont work somehow in this lovely position.i ve changed the batteries during this 21/2 hour waiting but still no.
i still cant get in and i dont have the spare keys.actually they are in the case and case keys are in my bag which is in the car. [img]images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]:)
why me again?

i called service but they say they cant come cause roads are iced, man it has full tank gas , its gonna work for days.....

i am confused shall i break the rear door glass to get in?!?!? but then i have to wait momths to receive the new one....

i never believed spirituel stuff in my life but after having this car i started to believe ...
-may be i made sin (very big one) and this is payback
-may be someone else was wanted this car so much but couldnt get it and wished me bad luck
-may be previous owner hit a very holly person with this car

etc etc

cause i cant explain the things that happened to me in reasonable ways...

If your car happens to have heated door locks, you activate them by trying to open the door, then it takes ca 30 seconds-1 minute for the lock to melt.

If this doesn't help, then you need to spray some gunoil or lock oil into the lock, this should do the trick. Or use a bottle or 2 of hot water to melt the ice. After that use the lock oil to prevent this from happening again.

In order to stop the engine, try to plug the exhaust with a piece of cloth, if you plug it well it will stop by itself.

jani : its not freezed, i removed the alarm part from the key.key was on the car and car was running.i had the alarm part with me. i locked from outside.it locked. but by somehow alaram part didnt unlock...
