Hi timusin
i am new in the forum, my name is nick i live in crete greece and i recently bought a 19994 RS2 in racing green. I have spent more than three months trying to bring the car as in "new condition". i had it resprayed, new ice, alarm, leather. Had general service, changed hoses etc. I have search the web, talked to many tuning companies from dahlback racing to mtm...I have checked with samco but they donnt have a kit for rs2. And i dont think they'll make one unless we all in the forum order one....Anyway the best solution i think is to substitute most part of the hoses with staynless steel tubes. that s what i am gonna do since the ambient temperatures here in greece as in turkey are very high. Anyway the part number for the KN filter is 332768.I have one fitted in my car.I am thinking though of buying the filter from www.dahlbackracing.se and only for the sound.Have you done any research for the brakes? My car has the 304mm disks front but i am not satisfied with their braking power. I want to upgrade the brakes front and rear. Are the 322mm a lot better than the 304mm. I was thinking of fitting the GT3 brake system. ( details in www.fvd.de).

Hi;
Fvd is a very nice company.i made several deals with them in the past.but they cant help you with rs2.are you sure all dimensions are same with gt3 brakes.pls recheck before you order.
we almost walked from the same roads, i spent too much time before driving my car,talked with all tuning companies etc.
i did all research for a long time.if you need advice;
dont pay extra for the brand name.
here is my list
Turbo : 1500 euro
intake pipe for the turbo: 100 euro
adapter plate for the oil feed line: 50 euro
fuel pressure regulator: 100-ish euro
software: 800 euro
installation: 700 euro

400-420hp:3250 euro

will do that on the first half of january,if you can wait and i'll send you the details.
if you need to contact people about this list: i can help you.
my country has too high taxes for import parts,thats why i cant get all the parts i need.will go to france to install these items...

thnx for part number

GT3 has 330x34 mm brakes front, with monobloc calipers. As I understand, the caliper is bolt-on, don't know about the brake discs. RS2 "big" seutup is 322x32 mm, very good, better bite and fade free compared to the stock 304 mm setup. Totally bolt-on.

The whole upgrade package can be ordered at local Audi dealership with part number: 8A0 698 203. Includes new front discs, pads and calipers (993tt aka Big Reds), plus new rear discs and pads, and all the noise removing bits.
