what should be the exhaust pipe size?

running for 400+hp's
no sound or emission control
planning to install a straight line and only one straight silencer at the back.

i thought 75mm diameter pipe.what do you think about this app?

Timucin,

I'm using a 3 inch (76mm) downpipe, and I think thats just about right, I also have a seperate straight through exhaust for the wastegate that exits just under the drivers door (right hand drive) although this is a bit loud when on full boost when the wastegate opens.

18inch BBS RK II split rims,225/40 SO3's, 322mm front rotors with Brembo calipers, 280mm rear rotors with S8 calipers/carriers, Boost/EGT gauge. Whiteline rear anti-roll bar.

this is excellent idea.lots of company do that.but there is a sensor after wastegate and exhaust connection.doesnt it cause any problems?
cause i was planning the same thing but they told me that there is a sensor there and i cant do that.....

That sensor is the lambda == O2 sensor. Doesn't affect WOT behaviour.

Shouldn't cause problems otherwise either, part of exhausts passes through downpipe, there is no harm letting wastegate exit directly out -other than the emissions.

I've attached a picture of the way mine has been fitted, but remember this gets very loud when the wastegate opens.
