is there any rs2 coupe produced?
as i know never. but a friend insists there is?
any idea?

No, AFAIK the RS2 was only built in avant form, but there maybe a few look-a-likes based on coupes/saloons around.

from what i remember someone had photos of a saloon that audi has/had at a show or something [img]images/graemlins/thumbs.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/spineyes.gif[/img]

They were never made available for the market though !

Yes ive seen the pictures and think that a RS2 Coupe was build for special order clients in Germany [img]images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

The agreement that Audi had with Porsche to produce the RS2 was that there would be no RS2 coupe produced as it would have impacted on 944/968 sales. Don't forget at the time the RS2 was produced - Porsche was struggling and Ferdinand Piech (boss of Audi at the time and also family ties to Porsche) gave the contract the build the RS2 to Porsche to assist Porsche fill some of their spare capacity.
I have however seen pictures of an RS2 coupe that MTM produced but none of any RS2 coupe produced by either Audi or Porsche.

none that are official, alot of people have changed S2's to RS2 spec or beyond though

There is no RS2 Coupe, but there are saloons (Like rocking horse doo-dah) and avants (Of course). Here is the thread.

reason i started this post is:
a friend has a s2 with rs2 stickers ( steering wheel-cockpit etc) and he believes it a rs2.but i doesnt have porsche calipers + it doesnt write porsche on intake manifold.i knew it was not but he told me he checked from chassis number vb,vb,vb
i just wanted to be sure
(by the way his car is fast-reaily fast)
