Noise and Tyre pressures?

Dear all,

What are the recommended tyre pressures for a RS2 running the 245 width
tyre?

Also,

When I track around left hand corners and when I go slowly after braking I get a kind of medium pitched metallic grinding noise occasionally from the rear. Must I conclude that a wheel bearing needs replaced? Or might it be something else?

The car hasn't been driven for a month or two, and I've just had the rear brake pads and rear tyres replaced....

Thanks again.

Regards,

Mark.

tyre pressure in summer driving should be around 39 psi ! according to inside the fuel flap.

i also get scrubbing from the rear tyres, mainly when going over speed bumps, i now have realised this is because the tyres i had fitted are too wide, i should have downsized 225 according to some previous posts which is one of the next things to do. oh yea, check under the arch where the rear bumper is and inner arch for scrape marks/tyre marks.
