can i fit 20x8.5 wheels to rs2?
what is the maximum wheel thicknes can be used on this car?

I have 19x8.0 ET35 wheels on my S2 - different offsets between an S2 and RS2 though. I have 235/35x19 tyres and while the back fitted no problem the front rubbed slightly on the arch under heavy braking - I got 5mm machined off the front wheels. It would NOT fit a 245 width tyre for sure.

It's also lowered.

I know someone who has 20" wheels for an 80 coupe project with RS4 engine but he is doing custom arches and suspension to get the wheels to fit.

i also know some other people from germany using 8' but 20wheels start from 8,5

I personally would never fit anything bigger than 18" wheels to a car like the RS2
