milltek exhaust on an RS2, any experiences ?

i may well be getting a milltek exhaust for the old girl.

are they LOUD or quiet etc etc
Along with the exhaust i am looking at getting scorpion cat replacement pipes. [img]images/graemlins/nodder.gif[/img]

on www.s2forum.com theres a couple of guys who have fitted rs2 milltek systems to their avants, maybe worth putting a post on there also.
ive removed the cats on my s2 and it is slightly louder but not too much.

nah i gave it a little skip till the following month/s
got the air con recharged [img]images/graemlins/thumbs.gif[/img] and sorted out the front brakes cleaned out and changed to drilled discs and matching pads [img]images/graemlins/boots.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/clap.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/boots.gif[/img] just giving them a few miles to "bed in", then i will see if i can overheat these puppies ! [img]images/graemlins/FIREdevil.gif[/img]

as soon i get the exhaust i will post a reply, hopefully wont be long [img]images/graemlins/1syellow1.gif[/img] but celebration season is looming [img]images/graemlins/062802beat_prv.gif[/img]

I've got the Milltek RS2 system fitted to my S2 Avant and i'm well pleased with it.The sound is great and no it's not loud.The build quality is excellent and it looks the dogs danglies [img]images/graemlins/thumbs.gif[/img]

Not really loud at all (but I've never had a standard exhaust on the car to compare with).

I'm also not the person to ask really having a TVR and a decatted Caterham SuperlightR as my points of reference. [img]images/graemlins/biggrin3.gif[/img]

Also about to fit Miltek to our RS2.

Guy I'm getting it from has this on his S2 and it sounds great under acceleration - not noisy when cruising.

My (standrad) exhaust makes no noise at all , even at 7500 !
