HELP ! ON SERVICE HISTORY

i have just spoken to audi reference my cars history and it has a 12000 mile service and that is it !!!
i need to know when the next audi service is recommended.
ist it 24k ? 30 k ? 15 ? [img]images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]
i am just following its life up and want to know what it should of had. By the way she is on 48k now !! I am assuming it hasnt been serviced by audi since 12k , but thats what you get when you buy a car with a lack of history. [img]images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

i will asume you have not got a service book.you should be able to buy one and get audi to stamp the replacement for you.in the service book it says the car should be serviced every 10,000 miles or 1 year which ever comes first,so the first service should have been on 10,000 asuming it had done 10,000 miles in its first year.
audi dont always have servicing loged as dealers can forget to log this info when serviced.it may help to speak to the dealer who did the 12,000 service or the previous owners incase it was done at another dealers.
my book is stamped but not all services were loged with audi, the dealer gave me a print out of all work done in the last 3 years

Might be worth contacting the garage that did the last MOT to see whether they can shed any light on the recent service history.

I can look in my service book when I get home and send you a summary of what's supposed to be done when if that would be helpful.

Did you do any checks to verify the mileage?

And totally irrelevant, but just out of interest, is your car RHD?

OK, I am speaking to audi-uk milton keynes tmrw, to get them to send me a duplicate service book with the 12000 mile service marked, james your right i will find out which dealer did the service and find out any more details if any,(fingers crossed) [img]images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

That summary would be super if possible. (pm me if it is) my car is a RHD not like the one which is in the picture. (its the closest i could find) [img]images/graemlins/clap.gif[/img]
