Prices

Post by dbell » Tue Mar 03, 2015 12:13 am

Hi all,

Any ideas on RS2 prices in the future, I appreciate nobody has a crystal ball, but like most cars, history, condition, mileage etc are all very important, and possibly some colours may be more sought after than others.
I owned a Polar Silver one approx two years ago, but it was a difficult enough sale, the car had approx 120k miles on it, and I ended up taking just over £9k for it, but just thinking recently should I have put it away at the time and hoped for an improving market, hence my question.

No idea but i sure wish id kept my Lancia Integrale, prices have gone crazy.

My best guess is that the 2 is not in that category,
At the end of the day, its an Audi, not a prestige marque like fezza or one that isnt with us like Lancia.

Its a gamble, nobody knows, but take this forum as an indicator, much love for the RS2?

I have to agree, you make some valid points.

Thanks for the reply.

I think the problem with RS2 prices is nobody knows what they are...
To think new you could have had a Escort cosworth and a lancia for the same price as an RS2 i know the bloke who brought mine said it was better than money in the bank and it was going with his 30 odd porsches in his barn.. ( once he had used it for a few weeks,,, last time i spoke to him he was still using it everyday)2 years ago.
