RS2 Immobilized ECU

Post by steverrquattro » Sun Nov 25, 2012 11:29 am

I have bought some EPROM's with a different map which is estimated to take the car to 380BHP, but the problem is my ECU is the immobilised version and these will not work in it. As expected, it starts, runs for 2 second and then stops!

Is it possible to have the ECU chipped like you can on an Xbox so that it will accept OEM and none standard EPROM's?

Thanks in advance.

The immobilized software is in the ECU. I have got around this by replacing the EPROMS with a none immobiized set.

NB A very cheap way of getting an extra 65 BHP + massively improved torque.
