Downsized my tyres, at last !

I hope so. New exhaust manifold and gasket. And also identified a small (but very expensive!) coolant hose that needed replacing.

Parts co had to order in exhaust manifold from Germany, courier mucked up delivery, and then the guy at the garage has been on holiday. Hoping to get a phone call early next week to say that the car's ready to be picked up. Our little TDI is great fun to drive but I'm missing the RS2! Saved a fortune in Optimax though

I have 8080 on my car but they are 225/45/17.

I've ordered one from vag-parts on tusday and I got it this morning £ 450+vat

If everyone except me is going for 225s. I am after some 245s, anyone got any for sale?
I'm sold on the 8x17 option,it looks proper fat from behind,and handles great also, bit of a handfull on bald tyres in the wet!
