Darkhorse - there are no production examples of a CSL with manual gearbox. I suspect what you have seen on Pistonheads is the E46 CS which was a late version of the E46 which had some of the CSL parts like alcantara steering wheel, uprated brakes/steering and CSL like wheels etc and could be ordered as a manual.
I did have a new RS4 built for me to replace the RS2 but could not come to part with the RS2 as IMHO it has more character than an RS4.
