Looks like aluminium bits have been sandblasted. What radiator is that? Doesn't look like mine at all.

The cam/coil pack cover and IM have been powder coated.What radiator do you have?

My radiator has rounded plastic tanks. Standard item. Been replaced once allready.

If the Idle valve does not cure it, you most likely have a leak on one or more of the many hoses coming off the Intake manifold. Another culprit is the TBV - a split in the diaphragm will cause stalling if it is a Bosch original.
