Help! - No ECU signal & Fault codes

Hey everyone,

Hope you're well.

I recently took my RS2 to a specialist mechanic to do the belt and water pump. The car was running and driving prior to this.

Once the mechanic put the car together after completing the work, he came to start it but it would not start.

In his notes to me he stated that "Wiring to coil packs shorted and blew the main power fuse to ECU. Replaced fuse and Wrapped wiring. However still no signal from ECU to coil pack detectable".

In addtion the car now has 2 fault codes ;

00515 - Camshaft position (hall) Sensor (G40)
30-00 Open or Short to plus

00513 - Engine speed Sensor (G28)
03-00 - No signal

Does anyone have any idea or thoughts on what may have caused this issue, why the car is not starting and what these fault codes mean?
