Front brake cooling fins

Post by alastairg » Thu Mar 24, 2005 10:57 am

The front wishbone mounted fins on my car catch the discs at full lock. No major problem but I am curious if any others have noted this.
You can see the inner edge is 'frayed' when you look from the front under the bumper.
If no one else has noted this I cannot see how they could be mounted in the wrong postion so what could be the cause ? Discs appear to be standard size.

I'll have a look at mine tomorrow and report back.

So much for "reporting back tomorrow".

Mine look fine and don't appear to be rubbing, assuming I'm looking at the same thing.
