porsche 911 alloys on RS2

Post by DamoM » Thu Feb 10, 2005 10:30 pm

Does anyone know if the porsche 911 wheels of 8 x 18 size with 5 stud on a 130 pcd with an ET of 52 will fit an RS2 without mods or spacers?!!! (See attached picture)

IIRC The bore diameter is different between the Porsche rims and the RS2. I'll see if I can dig out the numbers unless someone beats me to it.

The ET should be fine and I run 8x18 on my S2 avant (identical suspension and bodywork to RS2) but had to play around with spacers when I was fitting the 255/35 rubber. If you stick to a 225/40 you should be OK.

the centre holes on the RS2 are 73.1mm not the standard 71.6mm that Porsche use so you'll have to get the centre holes machined out.

You may need some mm of spacer in front to avoid touching the arm !
