80,000km, 15,000 euros - not the cheapest in mainland Europe by any means, but not that far off, either.
The car felt really tight, like the mileage was genuine. Strong motor, good brakes, everything seems to work.
In the past I've always bought the first car of any type I've tried - flying in the face of received wisdom. There are some good reasons why I'd be wise to break with my own tradition in this case.
The previous owner of the car is now in prison, apparently. This accounts for the complete and utter lack of service history.
The body has a number of imperfections - scrapes on the wheels, the rear bumper has lost its forward edges where someone has hit the back of the car at what must have been rapid parking speed - normal for a Parisian car, I'm assured - and the rear reflective strip is cracked. One of the front foglights is holed. More seriously, the passenger side wing seems mis-aligned, and the airbag light is lit - signs of a slightly harder impact at the front?

The car is also on 245 tyres, and is devoid of badging - but the chassis number is WAC and thus should be legit. Brakes seem in decent nick and pull the car up well.
Now you tell me to walk away, right? But it felt so nice! I'm rambling, but if I could get them to service it properly, do the wheels...How much would a rear reflective strip go for? Do they go at all these days?
Thanks to anyone with the patience to sift through this overexcited stream of consciousness:)
