Hi alistair.
So the way I see it. QST suggest 25% front and rear. You have yours set. 25% and 12,5%. Other suggestions on the forum are 50%front and 60% rear. According to my instructions with the shocks, 2 full turns is hardest. How do yours feel. Firmer than standard. A lot firmer, or similair. How is ride over bumps? Plush enough for the missus?

The adjustment on Koni Sport dampers only effects rebound. In my experience with any quattro equipped car, setting the rear dampers to 60% from soft reduces pitching and understeer considerably. In my on quattro cars the Konis are set to 100% at the back. The only drawback with very firm rebound settings is jacking down on bumpy roads (when the damper compresses and doesn't have enough time to rebound before the next bump).

With regard to the Ur quattro top mounts - it will be one of the best modifications you can do to improve feel, roadholding and sharpness. Just in case you did not see it above; part number is 857 214 323B. Don't let the dealer tell you that number has been superseded. This top mount has to have this number and a blue marking (not green or grey).

Much improved on standard. Only slightly firmer, better low speed ride on poor surfaces. Just better rebound control making uneven surfaces more bearable which in Edinburgh is needed

You need tractor wheels to make the roads in Edinburgh more bearable - the worst city I have ever been in for potholes and generally crap roads.

You should try the goat tracks we have in NZ that are referred to as roads.

Installed my Koni's yesterday. Compared rebound to standard Boges before installing. Found 25% was too fast. Set them on 50% front and 60% back. Hard high speed cornering flatter, more controllable, stable and feels like I can up the limits. Drive on bumps also plusher. Replaced top mounts when I bought car. Didn't know about blue ones.
Installed shocks myself. Saw I need to replace front wishbone rubber bushes. Will order from powerflex.
