Yes, I had no complaints about the ride/handling with the lower springs on, it did even make me think about doing the same to mine.

Nice motor and glad you've signed up to this forum.

Keep us posted on the check with MRC, I may well take mine there someday, nearly 3 years after buying mine

I hope that Gmund are paying for that service!

But let us know how you get on with MRC, hoping to get mine there soon for their custom remap.

Unfortunately not, it has done around 1600 miles since its last service, but it's due time wise and I don't want to upset it's service history. It has been serviced at around 6k miles every 12 months for all its life. It also hasn't really been used regularly since 2009 so it's more for my peace of mind for me too.

Bad form on their part, selling a car that needs a service - although if you got an equivelent discount in other areas its not a major issue, and MRC is probably the best place to take it.

Someone said on another forum that MRC do an inspection for £88, might be worth asking the question if you want ultimate peace of mind. Enjoy anyway, and let us know how you get on at MRC next week!

The green springs are most likely H&R RS2 springs.
