There was'nt such a thing as a factory 385bhp upgrade. He's probably referrring to the Nothelle upgrade which was marketted in the UK by Scotts.
Condition wise the car looks ok but the lower door plastic trims are coming lose and the passenger door looks misaligned.
Given that there are now only 80-90 RHD examples left of the RS2 prices might begin to firm up and possibly increase for well cared for examples.

Certainly not in any better condition than mine, although mine does have 74,000 miles on the clock and in standard tune. I paid £15,250 for it with 12 mths tax & MOT & a 48 month warranty.
I'll tell the wife just to confirm what a good bargain I got

I don't think so for two reasons
- the car at s-w-s had 58K on the clock (but I suppose he could have clocked it)
- the cat at s-w-s had a black leather interior (I doubt whether he changed it all to alcantara)

The number plates on the car look like they're from Fontain.
They'd remember the car I'd expect.
I'd want a museum piece for £25k++

Hi - I'm the owner of the Silver RS2 on e-bay - Yes it's a top price because it's one of if not the best available - Yes - the door trim is loose but will be fixed by Amersham Audi before sales (waiting for the part) - Yes -it has a full Audi service history - no - it has been clocked (!!) - the mileage is genuine and verified - and YES - you have to drive it to believe the difference over the standard car - this car beats a well-driven 911 Turbo - believe me

Congratulations on a very nice car - however I know of at least three others in are in better condition - one is the RS Blue one in Audi reception at Milton Keynes which has done zero miles, the other is a specially built Polar Silver one that has a verified FASH 37,000 miles and is unique amongst all the RHD RS2s. The third is a Laser Red one which is held by a Midlands collector unregistered with zero miles on the clock - what a waste!
I hope you achieve your target price as it's good for the rest of the RS2 owners.
My only comment on your car would be that there was'nt such a thing as a factory 385bhp upgrade as I mentioned in a previous post - whilst you might think this would increase the price and desirability there are those who would argue that it devalues the car.

Hi Mark
I wish you luck getting the door trim part. We waited weeks for the part on back order and then they sent the wrong part - twice. Now replaced and car is looking gorgeous - if I say so myself.

Have you advertised the car elsewhere too - you might get more interest in the specialist press.

How have you resisted the urge to keep the mileage so low? Mine was already into 6 figures when I bought her last year and another 14,000 seemed to have crept onto the clock without really trying .

Hi Scillyisles
You're going to have to write a book on the RS2. I'd love to see the Audi UK one. It must have been quite something to go and pick up a brand new, pristine RS2. I'm just glad that I've been able to join the band of RS2 owners.

Hi Cobstar - nice RS Blue RS2 you have.
Yes it was quite something to pickup a brand new pristine RS2 especially as the car was built specially for me. It was also quite something to be driven around Millbrook in an RS Blue RS2 by Derek Bell at speeds that were just unbelievable on the RS2 prospective owners day back in 1994. I was OK but some passengers found it all too much and Derek had to stop the car halfway round the Millbook handling circuit at one point to let a back seat passenger throw up. Derek Bell was so impressed with the car that he actually bought an RS Blue one and ran it for a number of years - in a recent interview about his cars - he mentioned the RS Blue RS2 he had and how it was one of the few cars he regretted selling.
I've built up over the years quite a collection of memorabilia with the car. For example, I have copies of all the original internal sales documentation given to the Audi dealer as details of the RS2 became available. I also have copies of every motoring magazine, newspaper article etc ever written about the RS2 (in English of course!

Hi Cobstar

I've kept the mileage low by only taking her out at week-ends - mostly around 4.00 in the morning - just to enjoy the power-surge driving pleasure and to avoid the Nissan Micras. Thanks for the advice on the door trip - I'll call the dealer and enquire as to the progress.
