Hi,
Has anybody got an opinion on the benefits (or otherwise) of Koni adjustable sport dampers over the standard fittment.
My RS2 has done just over 190,000 miles and the suspension is very harsh. Maybee they were like that fromnew but I have no way of knowing.
I know the front top mounts need doing (again) and with the age of the car and mileage I think the dampers may be a little tired and probably due for a change.
The car is not used on the track but I drive it "enthusiastically"
Also, is this a job I could do myself ? Would I need to disturb the brakes or can it be done without removing them. What other parts would you suggest I change at the same time to get the best result ?
Appreciate your input.
Thanks
PAUL

Do a search - you will find lots about the benefits of Koni dampers etc and some disadvantages.
AlaistairG came to the conclusion that standard setup was the best compromise. I would agree.
I have front Koni dampers on mine plus all new suspension front and back - car drives like a new car.
