I use Ferodo DS2500 pads and they are very good. I know many people getting excellent results with them, even on RS4s.

Were your disks in good shape before fitting the pads?
Did you fit the pads, and were they new? I have seen garages fit second hand pads to save money!!
Which compound were you not happy with?
Are you sure you got GENUINE Ferodo pads? Afterall, Turkey is one of the biggest european sources for counterfeit car parts!

I have Ferrodo DS2500 and think they are very good. they need bedded in properly first otherwise they just get glazed. AP Racing recommend them over any other pads for their AP kit for the S2.

Proper bedding in is critical to get the correct performance. This should be done to Ferodos recomendations and is paramount to achieving good braking performance.

Yes they do different compounds and even the DS3000 have 3 variants with a huge range of characteristics...from agressive to more endurance. I am not sure if a low quality pad is available for the RS2 but I wouldn't have thougt so. Why not import them from the UK to ensure good quality. Circuit Supplies on 0044 1525 385 888. These pads are really worth paying for although Pagid blues are probably just as good if not better....again, many different Pagid blues available too I believe. DS2500 for my AP 6 pots are nearly 200 UK pounds for the front axle..that's, like, 300 Euros plus! There is a good chart in the 2004 AP Racing catalogue that compares pad characteristics, get one if you can.
