All standard, bought mine from Porsche (cheaper than Audi were, but Audi said NLA this time?).

NLA from Audi means nothing - I have just had lots of parts fitted which were marked as NLA on the Audi part system - most of them arrived next day from Audi the longest took just under a week.

Oh well, the parts were cheaper than last time and the local Audi garage are a bit odd (the parts bloke once told me that they didn't make an RS2). If the NLA parts are still stocked, I wonder if they have some bumpers in stock anyone tried?

They do have bumpers in stock! But each time one is bought the price goes up. Here in France the front bumper is around 1600 euros!

I unfortunately had a beautiful polar silver RS2 dissapear down a mountain side after my wife hadn't put the handbrake on properly :cry: As a result it rolled 4 times and finished 100 yards from the road. It was still remarkably 'straight' and just shows the strength of these cars.
Anyway as a result the expert made his quote for the insurance to see if it was a right off and of all the parts required only the small moulding on the side of the front wing and the moulding under the headlight were totally unavailable. You'll find the headlight moulding of the S2 on many RS2's that have been repaired. The S2 moulding is 'flat' and the RS2 moulding is bevelled.
Just for information the quote was 27OOO euros!!
Don't have a picture after the accident, but here's one before.
Needless to say it didn't take long to get another one, even though it's not easy to come across a really good example.

Bumper turns out to be £1040 in the Uk. Nice looking car that!

And to add to this i think i have stumbled across what model Porsche the RS2 shares its front brakes with.My car has the small reds with the 304mm disc. Going through the previous invoices i came across one where the front discs were replaced along with the pads/plates etc and they listed ALL PORSCHE PART NOs. And after a quick search i found:
Just as the rear discs come from a 928S4 so do the front ones 928 S4 1987>91 and 944S2 with MO30 1990>> FRONT
The pads are listed as from a 993.
I will list all the part numbers on the invoice soon.

Hope this is of help. I have the big reds on the front and have used the 993 turbo discs until now. The OEM Porsche parts don't fit as the offset at the hub is different to that of the RS2. However I have now tried Porsche 964 turbo discs. They are the same diameter and thickness. AND the offset is the same for Porsche and Audi. This means easier availability (Porsche charges around £190 per disc and there are many aftermarket discs that fit, including Sebring which don't seem to rust as quickly as other aftermarket discs). I enclose a photo, notice the difference from the 993 turbo discs, being that they are not 'two piece' discs like the 993. Part number 965351046 (right disc). The left disc will be nearly the same number (965351045 I think but check),I had already put the wheel back on and couldn't read it!

For info on the rear I use Porsche 944 turbo (928) discs (around 170 euros here in France per disc from Porsche and 130 euros for Sebring cross drilled.)

I have tried EBC red stuff pads but they don't like salt!!, for normal driving Textar are better and half the price.
993 turbo on the front and 968 CS on the back
