Rear Indicator Not Working - but the bulb is fine....

Hi

Don't have access to the vagcat at home and was wondering i someone could give me the VW part number for the near side brake light/indicator bulb housing?

It's the rectangular plastic part that the bulbs sit in which then screws into the bodwork at the rear of the car - I don't even know the correct name for his part, does anyone know what this is called?

The problem seems to be that the metal contact point has rusted and the rear indicator will not work (even with a new bulb).

Also, does anyone know where to get one??

This part is known simply as a bulb carrier. Near side part number is 893945221 if anyone has a similar problem. Problem withe the old one seemed to have been caused by rust on the connection point. Grange over Sands Audi sorted one for me for £12...can't grumble at that.
