My battery died on me yesterday. When I took the thing out of the car I could see why, it was bladdy ancient.
Anyway, none of the battery shops online seem to list the RS2 so really struggling to find one that's not at Halfords and I'd rather poke myself in the eyes with a hot poker than buy one from them.
Need to order by 3.30pm today so immediate help required please gents.

Managed to find one....
Thanks laseravant but found GSF's website ultra confusing, as with the other sites the RS2 was not listed.laseravant wrote:GSF German Swedish and French should be able to supply you with a nice new Bosch battery at a reasonable price...my local has them on the shelf.
In the end I went to a site called Performance Batteries (01684 298 800), they suggested an Aplhaline battery (680 Amp crank up, 72 Amp) priced at £62.95 including delivery. They offered a Varta option at £85 but the performance difference was marginal.
Dimensions should anyone need them are:
278mm x 175mm x 190mm
Scilly - ta for the advice but picked that up after I'd ordered mine (needed it by tomorrow)
RE: Managed to find one....
go for bigger than 680amps i recently got a bosch silver from a dosch dealer for 75GBP and it was a 780amp or something, on the same dimentions on the original. much more power, much better

Vas, thanks for the advice but was a bit too late, the 680 amp battery arrived this morning. Good advice though and will definitely be looking for a Bosch Silver next time.Vasaudigreece wrote:go for bigger than 680amps i recently got a bosch silver from a dosch dealer for 75GBP and it was a 780amp or something, on the same dimentions on the original. much more power, much better
Just checked my existing battery and it was 540 Amp so at least I'll see some improvement on that. It was as old as the hills, kinda glad it died when it did, saves me from the same happening in the middle of nowhere.
