What Tyres ?

I recently had a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics fitted (225/45/R17), not done many miles yet due to a blown main radiator but an overwhelming difference to the Goodyears on there than the previous owner had mistakenly put on there (245/40/ZR17).

Formerly I had tonnes of rubbing, whining on full lock etc etc. The handling was also shocking with the old tyres on there. I would agree with all the others whoc are running the 225/45/17 set up. If you put the two tyre dimensions into the tyre calculator http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.html you will find why the 225 solve all the problems whilst keeping the rolling radius the same.
