Getting a paint job - Door, low-level mouldings

Post by jerseypaul » Tue Mar 31, 2009 4:38 pm

Hello gang.
Long time no post hope we are all well.
Has anyone replaced the low-level door mouldings on the RS2?

Mine were already done when I bought the car but one had not been done quite so well and was redone in the great stone chips and tidy up adventure. They slide in from the back towards the front with the doors open - that becomes obvious if you imagine trying to do it from front to back with the door open. If they're wrinkled along the length someone has tried to pop them on from the side.
