Tyre pressures...

Post by markcanderson » Wed Nov 05, 2003 2:05 pm

I'm replacing the 245/40zr 17 new Uniroyal rain sport 1 tyres currently on the car with 225/45zr17 Michelin Pilot Sport2s .. because I'm told that the Uniroyal's size is not designed to run on the 7J Porsche wheel..(that only Dunlop's SP8000 tyre, which is discontinued, is approved for the 245 size).

What is the recommended tyre pressure I should be running the 225/45zr17 Michelins at ?

I tend to run my 225/45ZR17 Bridgestone RE040 Potenza at 38psi all round as the ride seems to be quite harsh if you inflate them anymore.
