Post by NBirkitt » Mon Aug 11, 2008 5:02 pm

Been contacted by an Audi Driver reader with an 'immaculate, low-mileage' RS2

Wants advice on a valuation and agreed value insurance

any recommendations?

£15k - However, I'm pretty sure that if anything was to happen it would end up with the insurance company offering a value as opposed to using the insured value.

Suggest speaking to the UK Audi owners club for arranging a viewing to confirm an agreed value for insurance purposes.

Pointless question without knowing the colour really. And many peoples idea of "low" for a 14 year old car is what most would call "high". There was a Blue RS2 with 22k miles which was being offered around for £22K. On the face of it not too excessive if you want a car for a couple of 1000 miles a year. Can't see a green or red one fetching as much!

HIC are great for agreed value.
