Post by RS2_Miguel » Fri Sep 12, 2003 7:58 pm

The Kit consists of:

1) turbo gigantic KKK hybridize reinforced for 470 to 520 hp of little LAG that uitilize the same
multiple of escape and the same lowering, alone should be modified the line of oil and water, but the
admission (that to seem is but wide)
2) Chip with curves developed in Dyno
3) 5 inyectores gigantic
4) Filter of air racing

All the kit costs $6500 EURO

¿That think on the price?

Ummm, I'm sorry guys but the last guy I know of who's tried to do 480 HP with an RS2 exhaust manifold has melted a few exhaust valves. That HP amount is only possible with a sport quattro or MTM S1 exhaust manifold, the RS2 one is just too restrictive. Then, it seems like cr*p to me to resell a kit with chips that have been made on a dyno, this means that they have been developed for a particular car and doesn't mean at all that they will work fine in another car....

Beware guys!

for 500 hp; you need serious amount of boost which requires very hi-quality gas and very strong piston connecting rods.
Stronger connecting rods are must for this application!
(i am not an expert but i have researched too much)

The general concensus is 450Hp max is safe for the stock rods. and the RS2 manifold starts to become restrictive above 420hp when you need a sport quattro manifold or a bespoke version.

Also may be better using a Garret turbo with the KKK adapter since the KKK is quiter an outdated turbo and will prob be able to get more effiency from the garrett and less lag
