Gearbox?

Is 1.gear straight cut on the RS2.
I'm about buy one soo I would like to know soo much as posible...

No,it is Helical cut like the rest of them

Something else to be aware of is that the earlier RS2s had the CGR gearbox from the S2 - ie without the strengthened first gear. Later RS2s have the CRB box which has a stronger first gear.

IIRC the CGR gearboxes produced after 4/95 (serial number 77644 and greater) have the wider 1st gear and sliding gear along with the bearing plate and bearing race changes.
