Alloy wheel values?

Post by stephenrs2 » Fri May 04, 2007 10:39 am

I've just put my RS2 up for sale.

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/163611.htm

I have two sets of alloys with the car;
1. The original Cups completely refurbished and mint
2. Porsche 18" Turbo (genuine) They are in good overall condition although a refurb wouldn't be a bad idea for the perfectionist.

My question is what sort of price would either set be worth sold seperately?

Original cups fully refurbed £600 for 5 would be my starting point. I would heve been tempted to refit the OEM alloys for re sale. But thats just my view as the RS2 is gaining a classic following where OEM is all.

I thought about it, but the 17s have no tyres. I had them refurbed a year ago, and as they 18" tyres were so good I didn't bother to fit the cups.
