'Instantaneous MPG'

Hi there,

I have just noticed recently that sometimes my 'instantaneous MPG' readout freezes, (where it's supposed to update with the actual MPG every 30 metres) then the next day works ok, then freezes again. It's my default setting from the options on the computer and has never happened before so a bit annoying...

I was wondering if anyone had heard of this and can suggest a solution, preferably without costing an arm and a leg..!?
