Hangs to the right!

Hi guys.
Is it just my car, or do all lhd rs2 steering wheels lie off-center of the drivers seat?
Has it something to do with sqeezing in all the steering components?
ie lack of room.
For around £45000 new you might think they could get the wheel central for 'a drivers car.'
For all this I love the car
Any thoughts?

My girlfriend noticed this before I did and I obviously didn't find it a problem as she had to point it out.
Considering there is almost no adjustment available I find the driving position, even offset, very comfortable.
