Is the Macan the same size as the Q3 or Q5? I saw one yesterday and it looked tiny.

It hides it's size very well then. Did look good.

It does so behind the wheel also. It's a good drive.

Exactly, like a 911 vs a boxster/cayman.

I'd still have the 911

I disagree in this sector. Though I agree in the 911 vs Cayman/Boxter stakes. That said, the price differential now puts all three in different markets.

Yeah but, range rover or range rover sport?

I had a rrs overfinch, absolutely loved it - but this whole concept of going fast high up wore thin in the end.

Right now i just wouldn't bother with a nimble fast 4x4. If its big i want big.

Ie, range rover, q7, cayenne, x5 - full fat, not semi skimmed.

More RR or Evoque, innit.

It's second car so it suits the purpose. Cayenne is not that much bigger.

Yeah, fact is i'd probably not do a porsche 4x4, if i'm going there i want 7 seats, makes a lot of sense - i'd do maybe Mx5 or q7

Depends what you're looking for. I like the finish on the Porsche which BMW and Audi cannot touch, RR might just about be able to now, but is most definitely not my cup of tea.

Never been inside a macan, interested to see how the interior compares to Audi. It looks quite bland in photo's and Audi's finish is usually second to none.

I was interested until I saw a turbo in the flesh and it looked very ordinary and the thing that gets me everytime with Porsche is the options list, you can double the price of the car as there's so many options.

Get in any Porsche after sitting in any Audi and there's a world of difference. But there's meant to be, Porsche sits at the top of the vag pile.

Audi's option list isn't exactly wanting!
