I saw one in (wait for it) Chelsea today (yep, I was that surprised also).

I wasn't actually expecting there to be a forum for these things here. Ho hum.

The thing that made me chuckle the most? It was being driven by a 'lady' who had the wing mirrors folded in still & had a Waitrose stopping bag trapped in the boot, banging around on the rear bumper. Wish I could have got a photo tbh.

Enough said?

I met a guy the other day with one, and he spent the whole 10 minutes we were talking convincing himself that it was a great car.

Whilst I didn't wish to upset him I just wanted to ask why?

The cost alone, depreciation and the looks of it should be enough to tell him NOOOO!
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Disgrace it was allowed to wear an RS badge. SQ3 yes, RSQ3 no, not when its less powerful than an S4, TTRS, RS3 etc etc. Its only 10 bhp up on the S3 FFS

I saw one down London Wall last Friday. Had to double take when I saw the RS badge on the back.

It needed to be lowered by about 4ft :)

The 5pot is a peach though. Saying that I absolutely hate the RSQ3. The only thing good about it is the engine and that shouldn't be in there.

With that in mind, I think you're all right. The SQ5 makes more sense for the type of vehicle it is and job it needs to do but they do need to stop adding S and RS badges to everything they make.

I'm surprised they did it, as IMHO, it devalues the RS brand
I'm sure someone in marketing who wears soft shoes, large glasses and is 'in touch with the market' managed to persuade the powers that be that it was a good idea and sales would offset the loss of RS brand integrity

Personally, I think they're utter <beep>
