I thought and according to the cars manual when DYNAMIC is selected SPORT on the gearbox should also enabled automatically.
Mine stays in drive and sport only comes in when selected on the gear lever.
Anyone any the wiser is it a Car Manual misprint or a software glitch.
[The manual also describes how Comfort Auto and Dynamic affects the 'fixed' steel suspension. so specs may have changed]
Cheers Andy
DYNAMIC SET UP
Re: DYNAMIC SET UP
On all cars I've owned with the 7 speed stronic gearbox when dynamic is selected the gearbox does go into S mode. I can only presume yours should to. Trip to the dealer me thinks.Andy P wrote:I thought and according to the cars manual when DYNAMIC is selected SPORT on the gearbox should also enabled automatically.

No suspension alterations available on the RSQ3 just throttle and steering from what I've read anyway

Re: DYNAMIC SET UP
Thanks for the kind response.
Been in touch with Centre. They are looking at the demo and getting feedback [it was out on a long term drive]
They also believed the same as you [us]
They also said when putting the gearbox in sport the steering etc also goes to Dynamic. [Firms/stiffens up]
That does not happen either.
However there is no 'Individual' mode.
I can though using this current set up press a few buttons and get comfort steering with sport gears. [Mainly steering]
Or dynamic with steering, throttle open exhaust with normal DRIVE plus all the usual stuff.
SO not too unhappy at the moment but as the dealer said. It needs to be right if it is not.
Cheers Andy

Re: DYNAMIC SET UP
When in dynamic mode, mine does not flip the box into Sports. Having said that the box may behave in sports even though it is displaying 'D'. When in Dynamic mode I always drive in manual.

Re: DYNAMIC SET UP
When in Dynamic mode, my gearbox DOES NOT drop into sports mode. It is a manual selection for me. Also, when in Dynamic the shift points do not alter to sports - so my box is not dropping into sports enough reporting a D.....
Hope that makes sense.
