To those who have had MRC mod their c5 what's is their and your view on the gearbox risks. If it wasn't for the risks I'd certainly be interested in jumping from standard to stage 1

Yeah mrc done a deflap ,carbon clean and stage 2 on my b7 rs4. Standard first run on the dyno it was only putting out 282 bhp! I said im not going home with that; so they put a stage 1 on it and it immediately went up to around 360 bhp. Turns out that whoever had it before had a map done on it that actually made it worse!! Why would you do that? I knew it was sluggish but never in a million years did I think it'd be that low. It was severely gunked up so it went back in a few weeks later for a decoke and stage 2 etc. 430 bhp was eventually seen and it performs like a different car,well it did until the front diff gave up😯.
