Now in its 10th year, Audi Driver International has grown to become the greatest event for Audi enthusiasts in the UK.
During the day, the Castle Combe race circuit sees fast-lapping sessions on the track, demo drives from the country’s top tuning companies, club track sessions, a lunchtime parade for families with children, and finishes with a final grand parade of cars around the circuit at 4.45 pm.
There will also be a spectacular display of cars from Audi UK, a Concours d’Elegance for top show cars, trade stands, club line-ups and displays and a technical Q&A session at 2 pm.
Saturday evening sees the additional option (advance bookings only) of a gala dinner at the Swindon Hilton hotel, including presentation of the annual Audi Driver awards.
The gates are open from 8.00 am for track entrants, concours entrants and club members, with members of the public admitted from 9.00 am onwards. There is an entry charge of £10 per adult (children under 16 are free of charge).
Please note that RS246 withdrew from being nominated in the Audi Driver awards many years ago, so we will not be attending the Gala Dinner. If there is enough interest, I will request a Club Display and look to get the appropriate marketing material made up. Personally, I'm not sure I will be able to attend as I will just be getting back from Spa.Track Activity
Audi Driver International sees a great many Audi enthusiasts taking the opportunity to drive their cars at high speed on the famous Castle Combe race circuit.
Front seat passengers are permitted, after signing-on, and many of the top Audi tuning companies also take their cars on the circuit, providing fast-lap passenger rides.
Some clubs also book a dedicated club track session at special discount rate. Contact us for details.
There is also a special lunchtime parade lap session for families with children under 17 who aren’t allowed to take part in the fast-lap sessions, and the day ends with a spectacular grand parade of club display and concours cars around the circuit.
