Euro Tour 2012

Post by Fuggles » Tue May 08, 2012 8:50 pm

Firstly apologies for not introducing myself to you all earlier but I have known Phil now for a while and for some time we have been talking about a tour across Europe. In part it's a new adventure and in part it's to do something really different for the tenth anniversary. Phil has asked me to post the details here and, rather than work through him, answer any questions you may have. I hope this is okay.

Before all that............ My name is John fuggles and I drive a Nissan Skyline (sorry :D) I am chairman of the GTR Owners Club and also have a travel business that allows me to arrange club trips to Japan and elsewhere for club members. I've owned a lot of cars in my time and am passionate not just about the cars but also the people, after all car clubs are a 'people place' first and foremost as far as I am concerned

True. We have to work with dates that accomodate the hotels and fitting all that lot in is tough, especially with things like Monte Carlo and the Stelvio Pass. Why not on the Sunday after the race head down to Provence and join in the tour? I am sure we could easily work out an alternative package to accomodate those that want to do it. Maybe Cris, Rob and some of the others would be up for that too?

Okay,

If you want to join after Le Mans the same tour but starting with two nights in Provence and arranging your own Channel crossings - everything else exactly as described - would be as follows:

1 car with 2 people £925 each
2 cars (1 person each) sharing a room £925 each
1 car 1 person (not sharing) £1495

We will not be running this event for 2012 but instead will run the same event in 2013. This should give everyone more time to save up and plan for the Great Euro Tour :)
